I put the final touches on the wine cork trivets this morning. I made 5 in all, but only had plans to give 4. So the 5th one is mine, unless I have one of those unexpected last minute gift needs.
Here are the cherry splines after being sanded flush to the frames.
Using spare corks I cut 1/4 inch disks and glue them on the bottom as small feet.
All 5 finished and ready to wrap.

While meandering the pathways and enjoying our day at the Fieldstone Market
these cute little arrangements caught my eye.
The creator of these little gems Julie of Sweet Nothings
explained the tea cup arrangements were in floral foam and guaranteed to last for
minimum a week and hopefully longer.
George and Julie started talking flowers (business)
while I was busy trying to decide which ones I was going to get.
The arrangement I picked got comments all around the market as we kept shopping.
and I would direct them straight back to Julies booth.
These delightful orange rose arrangements would have been my first choice,
but I didnt see these at first but at least glad I got a photo of them.
I think my first choice ended up working out perfectly.
For those looking for new furniture pieces
I do have a Vilas small space table and single white night stand

I finished up a little frenchy damask lined cabinet today.
I distressed all the accents, corners and edges.
Shes been painted and lined for some time but I hadnt got around
to cutting and installing the shelves.
I completely lined the interior of this little cupboard,
assuming she would be used for towels, shoes, or even extra kitchen storage.
She would be great for a small space.
UPDATE: This little cabinet is SOLD.
Ive also been working on some kitchen upgrades.
and finishing a single solid pine night stand in soft creamy white,
that will be listed on the AVAILABLE page soon.
I hope to share these finished projects with you soon.

Every now and then I come across something that will work for my sisters home.
A few weeks ago we found a nice regency dining table that would work for her,
(more on that tomorrow)

I stopped into the Passionate Home this weekend and while I was there
Carrie shared with me some of the exciting finds her pickers have brought in.
Everything from a metal garden stand in its original distressed paint to a mouthwatering
vintage chandelier my heart beats faster for.

Did you also realize you can tell Carrie what you are looking for
and she will do her best to keep an eye out for it?
See that white architectural bit to the left of the green cabinet ...
it came home with me.

These black damask lamps are just a sample of the lighting they offer.

and just to clarify I do NOT work for THE PASSIONATE HOME,
and the only compensation I get is the smiles and friendships of the ladies who run this store.

I see a little home sweet nest tag on these pretty vintage wood hangers.
That means these are hand painted and embellished by ELISA.
George has MANopolized all the closet space is this house but maybe
some painted pink hangers might get me some.
Thanks Elisa Ill send him your way when he starts to ask whats going on here
And the last thing I want to impart upon you is when you are in the store you never quite see everything. Can you see that Fleur de lis bottle stopper laying in the left side of the bowl.
I didnt and I was take the picture.
